Goal

To correct mammary hypotrophy by increasing breast volume according to the patient’s wishes.

Surgery

It lasts 2 hours and requires 2 nights of hospitalization. The surgery is done under general anesthesia. You will be driven to the clinic the night before, you will meet with your care team : surgeon, anesthesiologist and medical staff.

You will choose with your surgeon the best mammary prosthesis for your body shape. You will receive a relaxing medicine prior the surgery.

Mammary implant can be placed through three different incisions areas: areola, breast crease or axilla. They can be positioned in front or behind the pectoraly muscles depending of your discussion with the surgeon about what is best for you.

Post operative period

The pain is more severe when the pectoral muscle is involved. It is easily relieved by analgesics. A support bra is placed along with the first dressing in the operating room. The bra should be worn night and day.

The result of the surgery is obvious right away but it keeps improving and the look becomes natural and perfect by 3 to 6 months.

Duration of stay

The duration of stay for a breast augmentation in Tunisia is usually 6 nights/7days.

This time will allow your physician to provide you with an optimal follow up.
He will also see you at his office the day preceding your return home.

The recovery period spent in Tunisia is usually quite beneficial and allows most of our patients to resume their professional activities as soon as they arrive home.
