Goal

Surgery

Depending on the amount of fat ½ hour to 2 hours are necessary under general or local anesthesia. The patient is admitted for 3 nights.

Through minuscule incisions , the surgeon aspirates fat cells with a canula. The small scars will be almost invisible.

Postoperative period

At the end of the surgery, a panty is placed.It will act as a compressive dressing decreasing post operative edema. Ecchymosis and swelling are a common finding in the operated areas. An infusion of intravenous fluids will be required overnight along with IV analgesics and sedatives to keep the patient comfortable.

Duration of stay

The duration of stay for liposuction in Tunisia is usually 6 nights/7days.
This time will allow your physician to provide you with an optimal follow up.
He will also see you at his office the day preceding your return home.
